Credentials / Training:

Lora Hanna is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Chicago. Her post-graduate training includes brief, solution-focused approaches from the Chicago Center for Family Health and the Family Therapy Institute of Columbus. She is also a graduate of the Institute for Life Coaching and has completed her Interactive Imagery Guide certification with the Academy for Guided Imagery in Santa Monica, California. Lora is also a graduate of the Personal Growth School of Hypnotherapy in Fairview Park, Ohio and is a certified hypnotherapist.

Lora has over 19 years of helping people make significant, positive changes in their lives. She has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, outreach, juvenile probation, private business, and public schools. She currently has a private psychotherapy practice in Columbus where she works with adults, children and teens. Lora also leads guided imagery and hypnosis workshops on various topics around Columbus, and occasionally out of town.

Hours and Fee Schedule:

By appointment only. They vary from week to week, but my usual schedule is:
Monday and Tuesday: noon-8pm
Wednesday: noon-5pm
Thursday: 9-noon
Friday: 9a-5pm

My fees for sessions are $120 for intake and $110 for subsequent sessions. Insurance will often reimburse for the cost of sessions. Cash payers not using insurance receive a discount to $100 per session.
